So i bought a new truck. Which I’ve probably written about several times before, but just in case ya missed it, i bought a new truck. Its not new-new, but its new to me. 1973 Chevy 350 with a 4 inch lift. Its the kind of truck that should really have a gun rack. But alas, it does not. Just naked women.

Classy cigar play. Good stuff. Hazmat pulls the look off very well. This site is styled by her as well. For those that don’t know, Hazmat is a very talented graphic designer. Her most recent client is Lip Service. You can’t open a rock-n-roll mag these days without seeing a rockstar wearing her designs. Its always fun working with women who have a talent all their own.

Gia’s got a gorgeous face. And for me, thats everything. Although a great body is a plus, its the face that makes me want to shoot a woman. Luckily Gia has both. But it was really her porcelain face that drew my attention. In this set a use a tiny flash light mounted to my camera to focus our attention on her pretty face.

This was the first set i shot of Hazmat. I honestly had no idea that her boobs were this big. Thats not to say it wouldnt have been obvious to everyone else. But for me i tend to get blinded by the entire package. The thing that stuck out most about her was her style. She carried herself really well. So i guess the whole boob thing was lost on me until they were revealed for this set. I slowly revealed more and more skin pulling her away from the shadow. As always im consumed by creating mystery. I love the fact that the viewer might be compelled to move closer to the screen to get a better look.

This is one of my favorite lighting setups of recent months. I love the idea of unpredictable results. With this setup, im never quite sure what im going to get, but i almost always love it. Its a nice new way of adding color in an abstract way. It also forces the model to remain dead center in frame. Which in turn creates an honest portrait. Its interesting how protective people are in front of a camera and how quickly it fades away when they’re forced to look right at it. Face their fears.

I really dig this jacuzzi background. By the way, not that anyone will care but myself, but that jacuzzi was free. Just found it online and picked it up. Not as easy as it sounds though. Took a few days. A lot of hard back breaking labor. Although i picked it up so i could hopefully relax in it after a hard days work, i knew that it would more than likely be used exclusively as a set. As is everything in my life. So it still sits in my driveway. My neighbors must want me dead.

Erica sits on top of a giant circus style DJ booth. It was used for some mainstream photoshoot and passed off to me. Erica is a badass by the way. Shes super political. Reads constantly. She reminds a lot of what i used to be. My favorite thing when i was 18-20 was to hit this rare books store in Pasadena Ca. at midnight … i think they closed at 1AM. And pick up at least a $100 worth of books, which equalled 15 or so books total. Run home to absorb it all. Stay up way late at night and read. Dream about conspiracy theories, changing the world, and learning who i was.

I was hired to shoot the latest catalog for latex designer, Delicia. I decided to post these as a bonus set to show you some of the work i do that doesn’t neccesarily involve this site. plus its Ariel X in latex so that can’t be all bad.

This set was almost lost. I happened upon it while organizing our collection of photos. Its odd for something to slip by us, this place is such a machine. We shoot a few times a week, theres thousands of photos edited here each week, but one fell through the cracks, if only for a little while. This is one of the first sets i shot of Joanna. I think it really shows off her beauty.
