featuring - Hazmat
I plan on shooting an entire series based on the prescense of fluorescent lights in my work. Theres something truly unique about their glow. A lot of nude photographers love the open window with the sunlight shining through … personally i prefer the fluorescent. Hazmat does a wonderful job of portraying a little lust for an inanimate object.

Soooo .. in case its not abundantly clear, Ariel and Madison have a “thing” for each other. I think thats what the kids call it these days. And its not just pornstar acting. Which happens to be true for most of the girl on girl sets i shoot these days. These girls really enjoy themselves without the camera in the room. Its not for attention and its not for you guys out there. Its for them.

featuring - Scar
I believe this was the first set taken the day of the Skin Two layout shoot in San Francisco. The hotel was unreal. Im a huge fan of urban art, aka graphitti, so its always been a wish of mine to combine two of my favorite art forms. Theres a lots of different schools of thought with regards to photography. One is to plan every detail and try to recreate your vision in real life. Another is to let things happen and become more of an observer rather than a dictator. Personally, my style falls right down the middle. I take a lot of time planning my work, especially if i know its going to be published in print. But i never lose sight of the happy accidents awaiting me around every corner. This set is a good example. Although Alex is very quick at makeup, when you’re on the road shooting and you dont have all your gear, you’re shooting for Skin Two, and you’ve got two girls that need to get made up, theres a good chacne you’re gunna take a little while to finish the task. During which time i setup lights, tested stuff, tried to pretend like i know what im doing. So i caught a glance of myself in the mirror opposite the wall in which i was planning to use as a backdrop for the first set. And that changed everything. So our first set is shot through the mirror. So the moral of the story is … never be so damn rigid about your vision that you can’t see a good thing thats sitting right in front of ya.

featuring - Kumi
This set is a continuation of the Kabuki sets we shot of Kumi For Skin Two. She designed the latex herself, Vex of Chicago produced it. Granted im not a big fan of Star Trek, but we went for that kind of otherwordly feel to it. Kumi is a huge fan of science fiction. Whenever she comes and stays with us she’ll sit and watch Battlestar Galactica for hours on end. Oh, and those are paletts used as a backdrop. Heavy 16 foot paletts. Good times.
